I’m based in Leeds and work across Yorkshire, the North and further afield. London is about two hours away by rail. From the first conversation to the camera on set, you’re dealing with me.

Before the shoot.
Can I book Tom as an operator only?
Yes. I frequently work for AV and events companies, operating studio and broadcast cameras. I can also supply my own cameras where required.
What camera equipment is available?
It depends on the job. The Sony FX6 sees the most use for corporate work. The ARRI Alexa Mini and RED Komodo come out when the brief calls for a more cinematic look. I also have dozens of Blackmagic, Canon and other Sony cameras available, depending on the brief.
Do you travel outside Leeds?
Why would anyone want to leave Yorkshire? But yes. London is about two hours away by rail on the East Coast Main Line. I have a five-seater crew van and travel all over the country.
Can you provide lighting and additional crew?
Absolutely. I carry a huge range of lighting and frequently work with other camera operators, gaffers and camera assistants. I can also refer you to other production crew.
